Personal Vault
When you SignUp to The Digital Databank a Personal Data Vault (PDV) is opened and allocated to you. You are the only person who has access to your PDV. We do not look at your data or documents and we do not aggregate the data and sell it.
Once you unlock your PDV you are able to enter data into one of 3 Categories. Personal – Private – Confidential. Within each Category there are a number of different Headers with separate Files for different types of data. There is also a Category called Artifacts and that is where you can upload and store important documents. All your Data and Documents are clearly indexed and cross referenced.
All this data and your documents can be Edited and Shared via a Secure Email. When you share something with someone the Ledger in your PDV will Time and Date Stamp the event so that you can Track what you have shared with who and when.
Everything in your PDV is encrypted at all times except when In Use and is backed up daily.
Our systems are POPI and GDPR compliant and your data never leaves South Africa.

Data Sharing
The Sharing of data and documents electronically makes life so much easier. It’s just a matter of selecting the data and documents you want to Share, entering the recipients email address and hitting Share. The data and documents are sent via a secure encrypted email to the recipient.

Then to make life even easier, if you change any of the data you have shared you will be asked if you want to update the person or institution you shared it with and they will automatically be updated.
Username and Password Management
Keep a record of all the websites you have signed up to and what email address you used as well as the username and password you created.
Asset Management
Purchase receipts, warranties and guarantees can all be stored in your PDV. We will even notify you when a license or warrantee is going to expire.
End of Life Plan
Have all your assets, insurance policies, bank accounts, social media accounts, memberships as well as your will and funeral plan all in one place.
Biometric Access to your PDV
Using Facial Recognition we provide a very high level of security for you when accessing your PDV. This ensures that nobody else can access your data and because we verify your identity with the Department of Home Affairs you are able to digitally identify yourself over the internet.
